20134Championships - Kick-Off Saturday

As in prior years, we are kicking off our Club Championships month (March 9th ) with a bang. The theme is Mardi Gras. Come and enjoy the sights, music and cuisine of New Orleans.
Two exciting first round matches will be played, so come and cheer on your favourite players. More details will be announced soon.
A high level Exhibition Match will add to the thrills of the day. Featuring NLTC's own Neil MacTaggert and The Bahamas own Likera Russell playing against Chicago's Luke and Mirka Bagos.
Neil is three time Bahamas National Doubles Champion; former collegiate player at Western Carolina University - ranked #1 in his senior year, NLTC's 2010 and 2011 Singles
Champion.
Likera has been a Bahamas Fed Cup Member, is C.A.C Games Gold and Bronze medalist in doubles; ranked #1 in The Bahamas and #677 in the world in doubles.
Luke was chosen Chicago's District 2012 Coach of the Year and Oak Park's Head Tennis Pro.
Mirka is the assistant teaching pro at Chicago's Oak Park Tennis Center, and the assistant coach for OPRF High School teams.
It should be an excellent day of tennis, and a fun evening of socializing, so come out and support the players and the Club8
